Publication des bans

Notre dossier de mariage enfin tout prêt, on a pris rendez-vous à la mairie d'Albi vendredi dernier pour le déposer. Pendant que la dame rentrait toutes les informations dans son ordinateur, des souvenirs de notre première rencontre nous sont revenus. Les Karellis, il y a 6 ans. Qui aurait pu imaginer qu'on se retrouverait là, maintenant, à planifier notre mariage!

Toutes les informations y étaient, mis à part la pièce d'identité de l'une de nos témoins. On pourra le compléter plus tard. En attendant, il nous a été demandé de revenir un mois avant le mariage afin de confirmer l'évènement, et d'apporter à nouveau nos copies d'actes de naissance maximum 3 mois avant la date du mariage.

Samedi, on est retourné à la mairie, et on a vu une petite fiche avec nos noms dessus, c'était la publication des bans! On est tout heureux! Benoît-Lancelot doit aussi vérifier à la mairie d'Asnières pour s'assurer que ce soit bien affiché !

Le choix de la robe et de la décoration n'a pas pu se faire ce mois-ci car on a rencontré des imprévus. Mais on vous tiendra au courant lorsqu'il y aura du neuf !

Mardi 1er octobre, Benoît-Lancelot est allé vérifier la publication des bans à la mairie d'Asnières mais il n'y avait encore rien d'affiché sur le tableau. Mais le lendemain, mercredi 2 octobre, lorsqu'il est retourné voir, il s'est réjoui à la vue de ceci :

Our wedding file being ready, we went to Albi town hall last Friday to submit it. While the employee was entering it into her computer we were both remembering the time we first met. At Les Karellis, 6 years ago. Who would have thought we would get here, now, planning our wedding!

The file was complete except for the missing ID of one of the witness. We will update it later. Meanwhile, we were asked to come back a month before the wedding to confirm the event, and also we were asked to bring our birth certificate within 3 months of the wedding.

Saturday we went back to the town hall and we saw a little bill with our names on it, it was the banns! We were so happy! Benoît-Lancelot must also check at Asnières town hall (where he lives) to make sure it is also posted there!

This month the wedding dresses fitting  and the choice of the decoration couldn’t take place because of some unexpected event. But we will keep you updated when it will move forward!

Tuesday the 1st of October, Benoît-Lancelot went to Asnières town hall to check the banns but there was nothing to be found on the board. So he went back the next day, Wednesday the 2^nd of October, and rejoiced exceedingly at the sight of the posted banns of the official public board.
