La dame qui nous avait proposé la salle pour le buffet m'a appelé samedi dernier et nous a annoncé que le concert qui a lieu le weekend d'avant va être prolongé et empiétera sur notre date de mariage. Une des seules dates qu'elle avait à nous proposer était le 2 aout 2014 (ou septembre mais ça fait un peu tard). Voyant les prix exorbitants des autres salles qu'on a cherché sur internet, on a décidé de choisir le 2 août, en espérant que cette fois-ci la date ne bougera plus !

The woman in charge of the place where we planned to hold our reception called me on Saturday and told me that the concert taking place on the weekend prior to our wedding will last longer than scheduled, meaning the place isn't available any more for us on the day we planned. One of the few other days available was the 2nd of August 2014 (or September, but this is too far away). Having checked on the Internet the quite high prices of other places, we decided to pick the 2nd of August, hoping we won't have to change the date again.
